BUCCAL PAD REMOVAL

Buccal fat pad removal is used to remove the fat in the lower part of the cheeks to give a more sculpted look to the face, this procedure is performed under local anesthetic and takes about 30 min to 1 hr.

The contour of the lower face is improved by removing the fat in the cheek that is not possible to lose through normal diet and exercise.

This surgery gives the appearance of higher cheekbones and a more chiseled face.

This procedure is taken place through a small incision inside the mouth. This is typically performed under local anesthesia with medications to reduce anxiety and pain. The buccal fat is about the size of a golf ball or ping-pong ball.

Buccal fat removal can be done in conjunction with other procedures to further enhance the facial contour. The location of buccal fat deep within the face prevents its removal with liposuction.

The incision is done inside the mouth, so there is no visible scar, there might be inflammation in the surgical area for 1 week, and we recommend massage for 2 weeks after the procedure.
